    Sarah connects mission-driven individuals with organizations for transformative impact.

    Before founding JUNE Partners, Sarah was an Associate Partner with an executive search firm specializing in higher education and academic medicine. She has worked with clients including University of Virginia, Northeastern University, VCU-Health, Adelphi University and UNC-Wilmington, leading the recruitment of administrative and academic leadership for liberal arts colleges, large universities, and academic medical centers.

    Sarah also has extensive experience in nonprofit administration including as a successful fundraising professional. Previously, she worked with the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE), where she consulted on succession planning, board governance, and fundraising. Sarah regularly consults with boards including for executive search and onboarding Executive Directors.

    Sarah has a bachelors from New York University and her Master’s in Nonprofit Administration from Rosemont College. She is a certified diversity recruiter, and has earned certificates in fundraising from the University of Pennsylvania and in leading diversity, equity, and inclusion from Northwestern University.

  • Ian Coppage

    Ian joined JUNE Partners in September 2024. Previously, he served as Chief of Staff at the Center for Nonprofit Excellence (CNE) in Charlottesville, VA. In his role as Chief of Staff, Ian oversaw CNE operations, including finance, administration, HR, and systems management, and supported CNE’s data and advocacy functions. Additionally, Ian has previous experience in candidate research for another retained executive search firm that specializes in higher education and academic medicine.

    Ian combines this experience at JUNE, managing business administration, internal resources and processes, search and logistics coordination, and supporting search execution.

    Ian is a graduate of the University of Virginia where he double majored in Government and History and minored in Social Entrepreneurship. A lifelong Virginian, Ian currently resides in Richmond.

  • Kellie Sauls

    ADVISOR

    Kellie is based in Austin, Texas, where she passionately guides and supports individuals on their growth and development journeys.  She is an Advanced DEI Practitioner (ADP) and Certified DEI Professional (CCDP) both through Cornell University. In addition, her approach to the challenges of bringing about organizational change has been expanded through her certification as a Trauma Informed Advocate and Trauma Informed Implementation Specialist.

    Kellie's meaningful work with organizations and professionals spans her first career as an early childhood educator over 30 years ago and includes leadership roles in higher education administration at Wake Forest, University of Virginia, and University of Texas-Austin. She has a bachelors from UT-Austin and a masters in Counseling/Psychology from Columbus State University.

    Through her roles as a leader and active community member, Kellie embodies values of growth, inclusivity, and connection, contributing to the betterment of her community and the organizations and individuals within it.

    Emma was born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia. She gained experience in the non-profit sector at the International Rescue Committee, but Emma's true passion is for bolstering engaged and inclusive communities through authentic communications.

    She is a graduate of Kenyon College where she earned a B.A. in French and English Literature. Her professional background includes community outreach & engagement for the Kenyon Review, as well as editorial experience at the Kenyon Review and the Los Angeles Review of Books, Avidly.
